High tensile strength air slide fabric is one of the technical textile named as aero cloth, air slide canvas, air slide conveyor, air slide belt, or aeration pads.

Air slide is a semi-permeable textile cloth that allows air to pass through but not the products.
An air slide belt is placed between the material (above) And the air-flow box (below), airflow crosses the material and makes the powder or particle fluidized under gas pressure, to achieve the purpose of conveying. It is used for pneumatic transmission of cement, bauxite, carbon, black, gypsum, etc, and is also equipped with a fluid bed and powder mixing tank, which with a special and controllable air permeability can help to improve the conveying efficiency.

Air slide fabric (Also referred to as "Fluidizing Cloths" or "Fluidizing Fabrics") are air-permeable fabrics used in gravity air slides or bin/silo aerators for the conveyance of dry bulk powders. 
Typical Materials Conveyed: Ash, Cement, Flour, and Silica.

The Air Slide Fabrics are designed to achieve fluidization of the materials on their surface through the introduction of air through the bottom side of the fabric. This fluidization effect allows for easier transport of powders along a conveyor or in a silo by creating a flowable solid and reducing agglomeration of the powders.

Both polyester and aramid fabric for air slide application is made by DDF, with maximum process temperatures up to 482°F (250°C). All air slide fabrics are engineered to provide optimal air distribution while minimizing pressure drop to save energy.

The principle of air slide: When transferring the powders, the air slide fabrics combined with pressed air in air slide chute and make the dry powder become to fluid particles, then the fluid particles will flow from the higher position to the lower position (destination) due to the gravity.
  1. Clear veins, stable size, high tensile strength, and various materials for choosing according to the different requirements.
  2. Equal air permeability, the tolerance of air resistance is within ±10%.
  3. High-temperature resistance, abrasion resistance, little hygroscopicity, corrosion resistance, lower adhesive capacity, never delamination, and longer service life.
  4. Smooth surface, 100% new materials, won’t leak dust, green products.
  5. The products applicable to convey the materials with the particle diameter < 4mm, temperature < 180degree C, the moisture content < 2%.

Tolerance of thickness: +/- 0.3mm , gram weight: +/- 5%, air permeability: +/- 10%.

The air slide cloth is spread in the middle of the material chamber and the air chamber, Powder material will come into the chute above the Airside belt. The material will flow to the chute’s lower side as a pneumatic blower down the Airside belt. The product is spread between the material and the air chamber, the following is the gas chamber, the above is the material, under the action of air pressure through the product, the material fluidized, so as to achieve the purpose of transport. Airside fabrics are used for pneumatic conveying of fine dry products such as cement and other raw materials.
