What is an air slide conveyor?
The air slide conveyor can be used for powdery materials that are easy to fluidize, such as cement and fly ash.
The air slide conveyor uses a high-pressure centrifugal fan as the power source so that the material in the closed conveying chute is kept fluidized and the inclined end flows slowly. Using polyester air slide fabric, the main part of the air conveying chute has no transmission part. The operation and management are convenient, the equipment is light in weight, low in power consumption, large in conveying force, and easy to change the conveying direction!
3 types of air slide conveyor
The air slide conveyor chute is a device that uses airflow to convey bulk materials along the pipeline. There are three types of suction, pressure, and hybrid. Its working principle is to use the kinetic energy of the airflow to make the bulk material in a suspended state to be transported along the pipeline with the airflow:
- Suction type: After the exhaust fan is started, the whole system has a certain degree of vacuum. Under the action of the pressure difference, the airflow makes the material enter the suction nozzle, and is sent to the separator at the discharge place along the conveying pipe, and the material flows from the airflow. After separation, it is discharged from the bottom of the separator, and the airflow is purified by the dust collector and then discharged into the atmosphere through the muffler. The advantage is that the feeding is simple, and the material can be sucked from several places at the same time. But the conveying distance is short and the productivity is low. High tightness requirements.
- Pressure feeding type: the blower presses the air into the conveying pipe, the material is supplied from the feeder, the mixture of air and material is conveyed along the conveying pipe to the discharge place, the material is discharged through the separator, and the air is purified by the dust collector back into the atmosphere. Contrary to the suction type, the material can be conveyed to several places at the same time, the conveying distance is long, the productivity is high, but the structure is complex.
- Mixed type: It is a combination of the above two forms.
Remarks: This device is not suitable for materials with large particle sizes, high water content, and poor fluidization!
