The screw conveyor has the advantage of a wide range of applications. It can transport raw materials, cement, coal powder, etc. It can be used for both horizontal transportation and inclined transportation within 20°; it can transport dry powder materials and sticky wet materials. materials. However, it has large resistance, high power consumption, many wearing parts, a large maintenance workload, high installation accuracy requirements, and difficult sealing.
FU chain conveyor
The FU chain conveyor has low noise, low energy consumption, and no powder pollution during operation. In addition, it does not need to put an oil cup every 2~3m like the screw conveyor, so the maintenance is very convenient, and it has been widely used in recent years. It is especially suitable for occasions with long conveying sequences and large wear. When the conveying distance of the surface screw conveyor exceeds 30m, the conveying shaft is long and not easy to concentric. It often needs to be driven at both ends, and the power consumption is large. Although the FU chain conveyor has many advantages to replace the butterfly rotary conveyor, the practice has proved that the maintenance cost of the FU chain conveyor is not low.
Air slide conveyor
The air slide conveyor is conveying equipment that uses air to make solid particles flow in a fluidized state. It belongs to dense-phase fluidized conveying. Compared with screw conveyors and FU chain conveyors, air slide conveyor has the following advantages: simple structure, easy maintenance, and repair, no moving parts, low wear, and durability; Air slide fabric as a breathable layer, long service life; good sealing, no noise, large conveying capacity; conveying direction can be changed, which is convenient for multi-point feeding and multi-point unloading; low power consumption, safe and reliable operation, etc. The disadvantage is that it cannot convey bulky sticky and wet materials, and cannot be conveyed upwards. It can only be conveyed at a certain downward slope. Generally, the conveying distance does not exceed 100m. When the conveying distance is large, the drop will be large, causing difficulties in process layout and civil engineering design. In addition, in order to exhaust, it is necessary to add a simple exhaust device at the rear of the air chute, such as using a single-machine dust collector or using a simple cloth bag to exhaust.
