The process flow of cement bulk storage is shown in Figure 1. In some exceptional cases, the conveying chute of the air slide conveyor on the top of the warehouse is often blocked, and the service life of the air slide fabric is also short, only 6 months on average, while the service life of the air slide fabric in other working parts all over two years.
Through the analysis of this, it is found that when the cement is transported to the chute of the air slide conveyor on the top of the silo by the hoist of the bulk silo, it impacts the material receiving buffer plate at the feed port.
The buffer plate is made of a 6mm thick steel plate punched with φ50 holes. It is prone to trembling when it is impacted. Over time, the welding joint breaks and falls off, and then the material washes the air slide fabric, resulting in damage to the air slide fabric.
Improved buffer plate
Cut off the original buffer plate with an acetylene-oxygen flame, cut a 700mmx60mm strip-shaped opening on both sides of the chute of the welded buffer plate, and weld the processed two (800×100×10)mm steel plates to the Put the stud bolts on the opening of gas cutting one by one and tighten them firmly. In order to improve the tightness, a flat gasket can be added inside the fastening nut. The length of the stud bolts is the width of the chute + 100mm.
The buffer board has the following advantages
- Good rigidity, and impact resistance, and the shell of the feed port no longer have a vibration.
- New buffers are easy to inspect and replace. Since the original device is welded inside the casing, it is inconvenient to check, and gas cutting and electric welding are required for replacement. After transformation, if checking, you only need to remove the nut and pull it out for inspection, and the replacement is just as convenient.
- The service life of the air slide fabric has been greatly increased. The air slide fabric has been used for over two years and has never been replaced.
