PPS(also known as polyphenylene sulfide),ccommonly known brands: Ryton® or Procon®, raw material fiber selection of domestic PPS fiber, with good thermal stability, chemical stability, corrosion resistance and electrical conductivity,moderate resistance to oxidation, but excellent resistance to acids and alkalis. Normal maximum continuous operating temperature is 375°F.
Ryton has excellent resistance to both acids and alkalis,works well in high moisture content applications and where dew point crossings are common. This media is suited for applications where emissions standards are tight.
